Appearition uses cutting edge Augmented Reality technology that works best under well-lit conditions. To obtain optimal results use a smart phone device that has good processing capability. A rear facing camera is recommended.

The application will display a number of Points of Interest (POIs) and connects to Appearitions Experience Management System (EMS), which can be configured to display hundreds of experiences.

The application also uses Augmented Reality technology to augment experiences around objects, places, and sights, immersing users into a mix of virtual and real environments as they view the world through their mobile devices.
